Julie joined Integrated Rehabilitation Services, opening her first clinic in Vernon in 2001. Presently, Julie serves as CEO for all Integrated Rehabilitation Services locations. Julie earned both her Bachelors’ Degree and Advanced Masters’ Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University. She obtained her Athletic Training Certification and has more than 30 years of experience delivering orthopedic physical therapy.

Since 1995, she has worked closely with Brian Mulligan, F.N.Z.S.P., (Hon.) Dip. M.T. with his manual techniques of “Mobilizations with Movement”, and was the first woman in North America certified by the Mulligan Concept Teacher’s Association to teach his manual physical therapy concepts. She has spoken internationally at Mulligan Concept™ seminars and presented these techniques to professional sports teams, including the NFL. Recently, Julie was part of the team that accredited two new teachers of the Mulligan Concept™.

Julie is an active volunteer, having served in the past on the International Board of Directors for the Notre Dame Mission Volunteer Corps and as past President of the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She has twice been recognized with the Hartford Courant’s Outstanding Leadership Award. Her special interests include golf, running, cycling and triathlons. She remains committed to helping people in her local community lead healthy, active lives.

If you lose sight of that, then your staff doesn’t feel your support. I think there are times we have difficult situations that occur, and you want to give your staff support in both positive and growing ways.”
