Kristen is a Physical Therapist at Integrated Rehabilitation Services whose decision to pursue the career of physical therapy was influenced by her experience as a cross-country and track runner. While in high school, she was First Team All-State and member of a national meet record setting 4xmile relay, two-time 9th in the nation, and two-time New Jersey state champion team. In college, she was the 2007 Quinnipiac University Female Athlete of the Year and six-time individual Northeast Conference winner. However, she was challenged with numerous injuries and frustrations throughout her career that tested her both physically and mentally. Though her injuries were incredibly frustrating to her at the time, she now believes that they helped prepare her for the field of physical therapy, not only in terms of educational experience but to allow her to better understand and relate to her patients.
