As an undersized athlete who thrived in competition, Ruben was always working to gain a compettive advantage. Some may have called it an obsession, but he loved every minute. Even though he retired from his sporting life, the goal of being elite has not been forgotten. Rehabilitation and sports performance is his new obesession and he helps guide patients back to the path they thought they lost.
These days, Ruben spends his spare time with his wife while they watch their children grow, compete and live their lives to their fullest potential. Just as he want to guide his patients back to their path, he tries to let his kids forge their own.
