Integrated Rehabilitation Wins Courant’s 2015 Top Workplaces Award
For the 5th consecutive year, Integrated Rehab was named a Top Workplace in the 2015 Hartford Courant/FOX CT Top Workplaces competition! Driven by a set of shared values, our employees’ feedback ranked us as the # 1 Employer in Small Business Division!
Integrated has come a long way from its humble beginnings 14 years ago when founder Julie Paolino started her practice. She credits her employees for the firm’s growth and success. Over the years, the firm has expanded to 10 Connecticut locations and now includes over 80 employees.
“Integrated is a special place. Our business is all about service, but not just for our patients. You have to serve your employees too! Our focus is to treat people right and do the right thing by them. I am so fortunate to have such an amazing staff. It is their ongoing commitment to provide exceptional service that has given us this much success over the years. I am grateful to all of them and would not be here without their dedication and hard work.”

In the Top Workplace Survey, employees cited the values and atmosphere as key reasons Integrated Rehabilitation stands above other Connecticut small businesses. The biggest reason is our Values of Passion, Integrity, Excellence, and Synergy. These values set the tone for Integrated Rehabilitation’s belief system, and are the basis for everything we do.
“I am proud to be a part of the Integrated team for the past 10 years. Integrated is a company that lives their values of Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Synergy – these are not just words on a poster. We focus on excellence in patient care, as well as training of our employees. Employees are respected, listened to and appreciated! “

Rather than making decisions solely from the top down, our company gets employees involved in decision-making by soliciting their opinions and suggestions. Some of our best innovations have come from our employees! They are not only focused on their jobs, but are engaged in developing ideas and initiatives that will improve our service to our patients.
One way we can advance our service is by supporting the continuing education of our employees. Life-long learning is something our employees embrace and we always encourage the attainment of new skills and certifications.
Integrated Rehabilitation sets itself apart with a relaxed and friendly environment. Our locations feature clean, open facilities, where therapy is often provided in a common area where patients can interact with each other. A certain closeness exists with the staff as well. Employees agree that they are a tight-knit group. In an effort to support a sense of teamwork and comradery, we have held themed party nights in the offices such as football tailgating, a casino night and an Oktoberfest. We closed our clinics for a day in August and brought the staff to Boston for a fun filled employee day. In addition to “work events” employees regularly see each other and socialize away from work.
“I have worked for Integrated for over 8 years. I consider them family. They have supported me as I have reached many milestones both professionally and personally. This is a company that truly cares for their employees. We are able to deliver the best care to our patients because of this working environment that has been cultivated by our managers and us, the employees. I am so proud to work with such exceptional people and be a part of the Integrated team!”
