Physical Therapist

Nelly has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine since 1992. Her interest in athleticism and fitness resulted in a path of exploration and education that ultimately led her into the field of Physical Therapy. She developed her specialization in Dance Medicine having worked with the Hartford Ballet, the Hartt School, traveling and local dance company’s and since 1992. She is a Pilates Educator and instructor since 2000. She is a Schroth Scoliosis Physical therapist since 2018 and completed her advanced training in 2021.
Nelly has enjoyed athleticism from youth to present. This includes bodybuilding, running, cycling, high school gymnastics, college track, ballroom and Latin dancing, Taekwondo, and Tough Mudders. She continues with Pilates and fitness training, 10Ks, 5Ks, half marathons, and Latin dancing.
