Stanley Cohen has been an Integrated Rehabilitation patient since the beginning. Receiving therapy for multiple conditions over the years, he continues to return for the staff members’ knowledge, concern, and rapport.

Initially, Cohen worked with Julie Paolino to recover from a sports-related injury, and through her program, his mobility fully returned. In addition, Cohen pointed out she has recently helped him with a hematoma flare-up.

Paolino noticed his condition during a session, which then led Cohen to get a second opinion from his doctor. The hematoma, it turned out, extended to his tissue, which meant he needed arthroscopic tyco-suction surgery – a procedure that saved his leg.

Cohen has also visited our Vernon location to see therapist Pam Leacu, who assisted him after two surgeries. Leacu helped Cohen get his mobility back, as well as his sanity, he says. Further, he admits that Leacu went above and beyond in therapy and treatment.

Overall, through the staff’s caring and attentive approach, Cohen has looked forward to his sessions, even though, he says, he would like “to forget the cause,” and has recommended Integrated Rehabilitation to his friends.
